Crossing The Blanco River during the 2012 SOTR

Ride Information


  • Ride Date: October 2nd, 2016
  • Ride Start time: 8:00am
  • Start and end location: Danforth Middle School located at 200 Texan Blvd, Wimberley, TX (click here for map)
  • Parking: Parking is available at at Texan Stadium (see map of area including parking, registration and start/finish area)
  • Late Registration: Late registration begins at 6:45am on ride day at Danforth Middle School.
  • Packet pick-up: There will be two times available for packet pick up.
    • Saturday, October 1st from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Danforth Middle School (click map link above for location).
    • Sunday, October 2nd beginning at 6:45am at Danforth Middle School.

Ride Support

SAG wagon support will provide transportation to the finish line for riders who experience mechanical problems or those unable to complete the ride. This course is hilly; choose your distance accordingly. Please be prepared to handle your own flats and minor repairs. Rest stops with water, snacks and restrooms will be located at 10-15 mile intervals. The course closes at 3:00pm.

This event will be held rain or shine unless extremely dangerous conditions exist. Please check your local news or this website for weather related information with regard to the day of the ride. NO REFUNDS will be given under any circumstances. All traffic laws must be obeyed at all times. Helmets are required.

Cattle Guards

The course crosses several cattle guards; use care crossing them. Please walk your bike across them if you are not comfortable riding across them.
